Marine Aquatic Research Station (Wet Laboratory)
This laboratory is one of the active parts of the Persian Gulf Research Institute, which was established in 1391 and has a variety of aquatic storage tanks from 20 liters to 4000 liters, spawning tanks, central heating and cooling system and is equipped with a complete filtration system. Seawater, including sediment traps, chlorination, sand filters, and UV filters, provides the saline water needed to conduct studies on marine aquatics.

Available services of this laboratory:
- Conservation of marine fish for further studies
- Breeding fish and other marine fish for research on them (shrimp, sea cucumber, macroalgae, etc)
- Aquatic sampling for laboratory analysis including: biochemical, physiological, molecular and enzymatic
- Hematological tests including hematocrit, white blood cell count, red blood cell and differential percentage
- Periodic measurement and monitoring of physicochemical parameters of water in portable form on site

Live food laboratory including phytoplankton (microalgae) and zooplankton (rotifer and artemia)

This laboratory is another active part of the Persian Gulf Research Institute, which was established in 1395 and had full facilities and related laboratories for stock, interstitial and external culture of microalgae, as well as laboratory and mass cultivation of rotifer and artemia. It is ready to cooperate with other universities, research centers.
